imitation of life
Excellent film. The picture was perfect. This film is a classic of the 50s directed by Douglas Sirk. It is filmed in Glorious colour. It is a melodrama about a coloured girl who wishes to be white and her rebellious attitude that leads her down a path of destruction and eventual redemption. Her mother never stops believing in her. A real weepy one. I purchased this for my wife as she has always liked the film.
