Nigel Patrick and Michael Craig are Scotland Yard detectives investigating a murder on Hampstead Heath and their enquiries lead them on a manhunt through both the black and white communities where they encounter distrust and prejudice. Turn the Key Softly (1953) starring Joan Collins as one of three women who leave prison on the same day. Over the course of 24 hours each faces a struggle with herself to avoid a return criminal ways.
