Game of Thrones - Season 1
I watched the first season of Game of Thrones last year and was instantly hooked! So hooked in fact, I couldn't wait for season 2, so went out and bought all the books. It's an Adult fantasy full of power, greed, corruption and of course Dragons & Deamons! Even though it's adapted by HBO, it is full of English actors, some well known, and some that will be well known in the not-too-distant future. I would wholeheartadly recommend this to anyone who likes a fantasy, crossed with the Sopranos-style TV. It is that good!

Game of thrones
This is a fantastic television series that stays true to the book. The acting is great especially the children. The settings are brilliant and almost exactly as they are described in the book. The only downside is the amount of sex scenes but apart from that there are no problems. I would recommend this to any fans of fantasy or medievel films. I cant wait for the next season.

Fantastic
All my friends had been talking about the hype of the second season of Game of Thrones coming out, so I decided to buy the first to catch up with it all......IT WAS FANTASTIC!!! It's like Lord of the Rings meets King Arthur. The story line was brilliant and there are some famous names such as Sean Bean and Lena Headey. I really recommend this to any adventure fan!

Game of Thrones - Season 1
An excellent series. Can be quite in depth to follow all the characters and the various relationships between them so a second watch through is recommended.

Game of Thrones - Season 1
The combination of the casting and scriptwriting in Game of Thrones is fantastic, with characters such as Ned Stark and Tyrion Lanister played to perfection. Opting for a 10-hour long television series, rather than a three hour film, has worked very well in their favour, allowing greater time to be devoted to each plotline, and increasing the viewers' emotional investment, making those moments where everything starts to go horribly wrong, all the more poignant. As a fan of the book, I am thoroughly satisfied with the conversion to the small screen, and wholeheartedly recommend it.
