Absolutely Amazing!
It's just that... Absolutely Amazing! I'm asking myself now why did I pass on this when it was fresh on TV. Seriously it's that good, it's very far from the soapy teenage rubbish that we see this days. The cinematography is just great, the camera guys and directors did an amazing job and it looks just like nice movie not all smooth and flashy colours. The writers did some excellent jobs too becuase it's about sport but it's not the same predictable stuff every time. It's a nice point of view in the life of a small town in Texas. And it's different from pretty much everywhere else in USA. The story is about a new comer "football" coach in small town in Texas. Everybody has huge expectations and he is under a lot of pressure. His wife is the beautiful Connie Britton which you may know from her role as Nicky in Spin City. She is the guidance counsellor in the school where her husband coaches so she has a different perspective on the team and... I can go on and on but I don't want to spoil it for you. Go get it and enjoy it like I did. The only down side is that there are no subtitles and the southern accent is a bit tricky but you'll catch up fast so it's not that big of a deal.

Dont understand American Fooball but I love this!
This series focuses on the trials and tribulations of the High School football team the Panthers in the small Texas town of Dillon. Beginning with the star quarterback being paralysed from the waist down, the teams struggle to cope with such a loss as they vie to make the play offs and state championships and dealing with the ups and downs in a small texan town that loves its football. A very well written drama covering all aspects of American life - growing up, falling in love and playing football. The acting is top notch, plotlines well scripted and it will have you laughing and crying all the time. Thought provoking and real you cannot fail to love this show. Must see tv.
