Controversy and ethical correctness collide on the streets of Toronto when Finn, lesbian mother to hell-raising daughter Zelly, comes under fire from pro-life protesters at the abortion clinic where she works. With the stress of having an unruly daughter and a controversial workplace, Finn's girlfriend duly leaves her, only for an unlikely romance to develop shortly afterwards with Eve, the cop who has been assigned as her bodyguard.
