A tongue in cheek, filmed in stop motion animation series starring a mild mannered private investigator, often referred to as the 'Words Strangest Private Investigator' Dick Spanner, was produced by Gerry Anderson of Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet and UFO fame and creator of over 600 TV episodes across 24 unique shows still viewed worldwide today. Dick Spanner was originally screened on Channel 4 during the late 80's as part of the Network Seven program hosted by Janet Street Porter. This DVD contains all 22 episodes digitally re-mastered with a new cool jazz music soundtrack. In addition there are two versions of the newly released 'Heard It All Before' pop video featuring Dick Spanner performed by Jester and as a special bonus there are two extended interviews with Gerry Anderson. Spanner is voiced by Shane Rimmer who previously voiced Scott Tracey in the original series of Thunderbirds.
