a bloody success
5A fantastic series. One of the best I've watched. Dexter is a very colourful character who befriends the viewer and makes you love him. Can't wait for season 6 to arrive.

Well what can I say
5If your looking to buy Dexter season 5 then you should already know how good a show this is. Season 5 is certainly one of the better seasons, even when they start to include 'guest stars'.

5As always Dexter delivers. Dexter - Season 5 provides exciting and new twists and turns you couldn't see coming. You have to see it, From Season 1 it bites you. The partnership evolves Dexter even more...

Slight dip in form but...
4I'm a big fan of Dexter and have been since the start. Season 4's finale was so intense I was a bit concerned where the writers would go next. Dexter - Season 5 is still good but I was ever so slightly disappointed by this series. Good to see Jonny Lee Miller as the bad guy, but the amount of times Dexter gets away with just seconds to spare does get a bit irritating. I'm looking forward to the next series and hoping for a bit more!

Dexter - Season 5
5Dexter is the guy you would want to be for real, A Charles Bronson on steroids, taking vigilance onto a whole new level. Each season is better than the last, and the first season was pretty damn good. If you want to watch a show about a ruthless, merciless monster to whom you could trust your kids, this might be for you. It is worth mentioning, that they swear like there's no tomorrow on this show. That is a nice touch of realism. Usually on an american tv-show it´s ok to kill people, as long as you don´t use bad language. With this one, we get the best of both worlds. Highly recommended.

Dexter`s back!
5Dexter`s looking for solace after Rita`s death, wich he finds in an unlikely soulmate. Not as good as the fourth season but it still is a great series with a brilliant Michael C. Hall.

A change of pace
4After the explosive ending of Season 4, one could wonder "what on earth could the writers do to top that?" Well, they haven't. Instead, very cleverly, the writers headed in a completely different direction. Where through season 4 there was a dramatic build up to the conclusion, season 5 takes a more sedate and steady approach as Dexter comes to terms with what he has lost, aided through the introduction of kindred spirit Lumin (Julia Stiles). For the first time Dexter is confronted with genuine emotion, which he struggles to comprehend. Only through helping Lumin get revenge on those who destroyed her life is he able to piece back together the shards of his shattered soul. A brilliant follow-on to season 4, season 5 sees Dexter grow as a human being more than ever before, fans will not be disapointed.

5If you have watched Dexter Season 1-4, you will not be disappointed by the latest installment. I rate this as one of the best Dexter Seasons and would recommend it to any Dexter fan!
