Dated but Iconic
The Carry On movies are without a doubt staples of British cinema, they are iconic with iconic gags, stars and they are wonderfully celebrated in this boxset. However, to the modern audience these movies are highly dated with a lot of racial and stereotypical viewpoints (particularly towards women) which simply are unacceptable in the present day and that does for me take away from these movies, but of course they weren't designed to be future proof. Iconic actors and movies such as Carry on Camping and Carry on Doctor are favourites of mine which are timeless and wonderful humorous. Of course this set does leave out "Carry on London" but that's probably for the best. It's about time these movies got a HD upscale, just to preserve how iconic they are, yet I do believe they are quite dated.

Fantastic bargin
Bought this for my other half, couldn't believe the price for a collection that had every carry on movie, great set and worth every penny, if you like classic british comedy then I can't recommend this set high enough, it's a must buy

Really not happy I was so looking forward to watching these carry on films and yet i am only 5 discs in and already I've had to miss out on watching 2 films because they wouldn't play properly! They kept freezing and not playing! I initially cleaned the the disc and dvd player lens then also brought a brand new dvd player! But alas they still won't play! Very unhappy!

Great Collection
This Carry On boxset is a must have for fans of the series. All 30 films have a commentary and they all have trivia notes. The only letdown is the poor quality box the discs come in. It should have been done better. I would gladly pay 2 pounds more for a better quality box. Apart from that excellent hence my 4 out of 5 stars. Losing 1 for the packaging.
