Everything went better than expected.
For you to be able to enjoy this movie you have to mentally prepare for few things: 1) Don't think of this as Max Brook's World War Z book adaptation. This movie has absolutely nothing to do with that brilliant book. Just think of it as another higher budget zombie-movie. 2) Remember that production had so many problems from the beginning. Shoots and re-shoots ... number of writer changes ... don't remember if they even changed directors while at it. It was surely going to fail miserably. Now we get to movie itself. It's not nearly as bad as it could have been. Brad Pitt does okay job as lead character, his family isn't as irritating as they usually are in movies ... specially kids. Zombies are fast but already getting used to that. Waves of CGI zombies looks pretty cool and 1-on-1 situation is more horror than action. 3D is very good Â… meaning that most times you wont even notice it but still it gives that little extra which is nice. Plot isnt really the strongest point of the movie but it didnt get in the way for enjoying this film. I know this movie isnt for everyone but I am sucker for zombie-movies and this too worked for me.
