Brilliant and unnerving

To tide us over until Chris Cunningham finally makes a film

Under the Skin

Slow, thought provoking, visually stunning and disturbing...but never boring. If movies like 'The man who fell to earth' and '2001 a space odyssey are your thing then you'll love this.

Beautiful Strangeness

Impossible to describe, Under The Skin is a movie that haunts the imagination. Jonathan Glazer directs with a stunning, clinical eye. It makes humanity into the aliens that Scarlett Johansson walks among. She has never been better nor Glasgow so exotic. Brilliant!

Excellent, but it's not for everyone

I love this film. It is thoughtful, strange, mysterious and brilliantly executed. But I know some will find this ponderous, unclear and frustrating. But you won't know which you are until you've seen it. It's not the book and so much the better for it, even though the book is superb.

sci fi epic

A bit of a slow burner and can be hit and miss with most people, i would certainly recommend renting before buying. But if you like science fiction films that make you think then you will appreciate this. Very different to the book and the story is pulled along by visuals rather then narration. Does what it says in that it gets 'under your skin' and the ending was epic
