Classic movies in super quality effects and sound like in the cinema, I recommend

2 awesome films in the best format and quality spanning quite a few generations with a pretty good story line considering the massive time gap. And at Zavvi great price, BUY IT

A good value double feature package. Considering the age of the first film and there are no claims for any significant digital restoration project, it looks fabulous on Blu-ray. Both films have a good selection of extras. There are no commentary tracks, but I've not marked it down too harshly for that. A good commentary would have been nice, but unless it provides valuable insights into the creative process, editing decisions made, or entertaining 'behind-the-scenes' reminiscences they can be very tedious. Nothing worse than a group of people rambling on about stuff you already know from having seen the film! The Blu-ray format would still allow for a lot more bonus content than here though, and a lot of Disney releases, especially in box sets, are a bit stingy. There was really no excuse for such a meagre POTC 4 movie box set when you consider that the individual 'Pirate's discs had already been released individually with much fuller content. The sequel is well thought out and a welcome return to the game world of TRON, although the script does suffer from some appalling cyber-babble at times. Jeff Bridges deserves a medal for keeping a straight face whilst spouting such drivel. Martin Sheen outrageously steals every scene he's in and although his screen time is quite short is worth the purchase of the film alone. Great fun.

Tron: Double Pack (Includes Tron (1982) and Tron: Legacy (2010)) has fantastic effects that really pull you into the whole Tron universe. The soundtrack too by Daft Punk is awesome! The story for me was very good too, and was really the only way to carry on from the fantastic and classic original movie! The cast was very good, Jeff Bridges was on form and did really well resurrecting his character Flynn, and Olivia Wilde is very sexy. This is a must buy on Blu-ray for any true fan of the original and anyone else who wants to see something cool and original looking.

Long time Tron fans will not be worried when they see the transfer of the original classic on Blu-ray. All the Special edition DVD features have made it to the Blu-ray release, as has some new HD content. The film itself looks amazing and is the best it has ever looked. Tron Legacy is again one of my favourite films and the Blu-ray certainly does justice to any Home Cinema system. If you are looking for a title to show off your AV System, then this is it! Grab it as soon as you can!

My boys loved this on DVD, I decided to treat them to the original and the Blu-ray version double pack. The pace can be a little slow in places but everything looks so beautiful you just dont care. Even my 7 yearr old just sat there transfixed through the whole thing and the soundtrack makes legacy an environment you want to lose yourself in for hours. Highly recommend this Tron: Double Pack.
