The Sting
A great classic movie given the boutique release it deserves. Lovely steelbook in a nice hard slipcase. Great retro poster. Top marks.

A great classic that looks fantastic on screen. The accompanying art work really makes it a wonderful package.

The Sting is a brilliant concept!
I very recently saw this film on tv. If anyone has ever watched ‘Hustle’ on BBC 1 you’ll know that they used a con called ‘The Sting’…it was almost a mirror image of how Paul Newman and Robert Redford’s characters used their grifting skills. This new 4K version is ultra sharp, and an excellent transfer to UHD. I have to admit, I managed to buy this dvd at a reduced price, which I’m thankful for. If you like watching Grifters (Conmen) working their genius magic, then this is the film to see! All the extras you get with the dvd are excellent material. After all, you can’t con an honest man, it’s totally impossible. You give the greedy man/woman something for nothing, and then give them nothing for everything they’ve got! It’s a brilliant concept.

Pure Entertainment
Newman, Redford, Shaw and supporting cast are truly great in this wonderfully entertaining caper. The Sting remains the definitive con-artist film with several twists and turns but be careful not to be fooled by the final sting! The steelbook artwork is stunning with its classic and clean artwork.

Great edition and 4K disc!
I don’t think Robert Redford makes bad movies. The Sting is wonderful. A lot of movies have moments that happen off screen and leave you scratching your head. This puts them all there. I t’a just subtle. It allows you to figure it out. I love the packaging done here. Zavvi has made a very nice Steelbook.
