Beautifully restored on Blu-Ray this edition of Prince of Darkness includes an extra disc filled with extra features including a brand new documentary.
Deep in the basement of an abandoned church, once run by a sinister religious sect, lies a strange bottle of green liquid being investigated by a group of local theoretic physics students. But as the night draws in the students soon realise that the strange relic holds a dark and powerful force beyond their control. A force that could well be the essence of pure evil: the remains of Satan himself.

Classic John carpenter movie different from you regular horror movies. Steelbook beautiful fantastic artwork that looks much better when in your hands

Prince of Darkness
When I originally Purchased this Steelbook on its first release I sold on the 4k disc due to Not Having a 4k TV/Blu-Ray, Months later I treated myself to the 4k set up so regretted selling the 4k disc, luckily the film came back on sale so re purchased this and the other 3 Carpenter Steelbooks, Absolutely a Fantastic film and the steelbook is awesome, well worth buying again

Another great John Carpenter steelbook. Great packaging and extras, and the new restoration looks great. Hoping for more in this series.

John Carpenter’s Prince Of Darkness 4K UHD
Really nice Steelbook from Zavvi and looks the best I’ve ever seen it. Be warned though the UHD does not play on the Samsung UBD-K8500, either Studio Canal haven’t authored the disc correctly or Samsung need to update the K8500’s firmware. I have to view it using an Xbox One S which is not the best for playing 4K UHD movies. Should also point out that this issue effects Studio Canals Cliffhanger and Rambo Trilogy.
