Very enjoyable family film, lovely looking steelbook, great cast, stunning visuals. Only negative with the film from people I have spoke to is everyone mentions that there's a slight adaptation to not meeting someone in the film

The Jungle Book is an incredible movie with a great story that adults and kids can enjoy. I seen this movie in the theatre and knew I couldn't wait for it to be released on blu ray. I had to purchase my copy over seas because Disney did not release a 3d version in the U.S.. I only buy 3d when available, it adds depth to any movie. This movie will not disappoint.

Amazing CGI applied to a classic story

The storyline is much closer to the original Kipling stories, and all the better for that. At the same time they have cleverly worked in several homages to the earlier animated version, including new versions of the classic songs. The CGI is breathtaking. It is easy to forget that there is in fact only one live action character in the entire film - Mowgli himself. All the other characters, all the landscapes and most of the textures and objects are generated. Sometimes that's obvious, sometimes not. The steelbook itself - good artwork on front and back covers. The spine is too busy for my taste but not a deal breaker. Good quality picture and sound - on the 2D version, I could not see the 3D. Amongst the additional material on the disc the 'making of' documentary is a must-see, as well as the feature on Neel Sethi, the young lad who plays Mowgli.

This is an absolutely stunning seelbook with an amazing mix of matte and glossy finish and cool outlines that really show when you hold the steelbook at an angle. I don't think enough steelbooks uses green, but this one does and does it right
