Probably one of the most underrated remakes ever made!
David Fincher take on The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is simply genius with his classic stylistically tone, that he brings to any of his films and strong cinematography that manages to grip the narrative dark mysterious mood, with perfect pacing for the long runtime of nearly three hours, I never felt bored once even after number of reviewing and the changes between the characters and plot compared to the original, personally are much better with not setting up a sequel and keeping focus (even know there’s a trilogy here) it just leaves the viewer satisfied with the conclusion of this story. Both roles are given differently with well-acted performances from Daniel Craig that brings a knock out role ready for upcoming Skyfall that was filmed after and a surprising rising actress Rooney Mara playing Lisbeth Salander, that fills big shoes from Noomi Rapace's portrayal. I just feel technically, it’s much stronger movie then the original; however I do enjoy the original and respect the efforts behind it. Looking forward to possible sequel from Mr Fincher in the future.

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo on Blu Ray
I really enjoyed The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, the build up is quite slow but the story really kept me interested.

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is a really good movie. It's exciting, tense and a little disturbing at times. I thought the girl was sufficiently freaky.

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is one of the best films I've seen for a long long time. I have read the books and seen all three Swedish flims, and was sceptical about a Hollywood remake, but it worked well, even with the slight change to the ending.

The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo - Blu-Ray
Watched this film at the cinema just after Christmas as was very impressed. Very good acting from all the cast. The film didn't seem to be all Hollywood, it had a real edge to it. If you are a fan of the book or even if you have never read it but fancy the film, I don't think you will be disapointed.
