Excellent collection
5HI-DEF remastered version of all the bond movies except skyfall. But luckly they have a placeholder for skyfall so you can just purchase that one seperate (I have the UK bluray one) All transfers are excellent so if you are a bond fan there is no reason not to buy this collection. The price here was also the cheapest I found. It is the same version that is sold in other country (belgium etc) so the disc also have dutch subtitles, I guess all euro languages are included. 10/10

Bond is best!
5Great Bond movies from Sean Connery to Daniel Craig! Even better to watch them all on blu ray...can't wait for the next Bond movie!

5Excellent price for box set, very good delivery. Very good picture for BLURAY. Love book pictures with BLURAY discs. Big fan of James Bond.

Clumsy effort, MGM, you disappoint me.
4Oh how I want to give this 5 stars. It's terrific (I wanted to be smart and quote a Bond villain in my review title) but it's not perfect. The picture quality is great throughout and the big visual flaws with the Ultimate Edition DVDs have been fixed (the ludicrous colour correction on OHMSS, the framing on Goldeneye) but the big bugs this time around are the sound and packaging. Sound: only half of the films include the original mono and/or stereo sound mixes, the other half (even the earliest ones) only contain rather OTT faux 5.1 surround remixes featuring new sound effects, meaning the movies you grew up with now don't sound the way you remember them (explosions, guns shots, machinery even cat meows have been replaced...Goldfinger's Oscar winning mono sound mix is now unavailable). Packaging: it doesn't come in bluray cases, it comes in two hardback 'books' with slots in the cardboard pages, tomes that are far too long to fit comfortably on a shelf surrounded by other blurays and are covered with 'artwork' that is so poorly rendered, it's almost embarrassing. Heaven forbid that, for the 50th anniversary, we should look back with nostalgia at packaging that celebrated the iconic poster artwork from the original releases. MGM are still obsessed with trying to make us think these film were all released yesterday with their 'modern' artwork - photos of the actor's faces photoshopped into wrinkle free heads attached to different bodies. Nowhere does it state what the extra audio tracks are on the packaging (it would be nice to know which is which), even though there's plenty of room to include such info, the extras are not listed anywhere, the plots are not summarised and at least one of the films is incorrectly classified (it states The Living Daylights is a 12, a fact the BBFC doesn't agree with). A decent, dare I say 'normal', bluray box set with traditional packaging, original soundtrack options on all films, informative liner notes and a bit more care overall would be appreciated next time. Otherwise, it's nearly there. Do pay attention, MGM.

Much more than a gun and a radio
5Delivered in two jiffy envelopes by hand normal mail (although it will not fit through letterbox), this box set of blu ray Bond I am very pleased to own. I watch films on projection so I will be very interested to see which films 'work' as home cinema. Each disc is very well protected and easily accessible. I love the way there is a Bond girl next to each disc along with the year the film was made: Thunderball is my favourite girl pic!

Total Bond
5If you like Bond...James Bond, then you'll adore this beautifully restored Complete Bond Collection. Every film from Dr. No to Quantum of Solace is here even giving you a little space to put your Skyfall disc. It's a shame Skyfall isn't included, but then in three years time we'll be saying it's a shame the next Bond film hasn't been included. It's a vicious cycle. All films come loaded with extras to compliment the movie which is a real bonus. After watching fifteen Bond movies in a row, you might find yourself getting a little shaken and stirred, but each film is a real delight in it's own way. Except Moonraker - no one likes Moonraker.
