Good quality screwball comedy

A nice Criterion presentation of a clean restoration. The visuals are decent though heavy on film grain - which is authentic and is to be expected from film stock of this age. The film itself stands up to more famous screwballs like Bringing Up Baby, His Girl Friday etc. Cary Grant and Irene Dunne play really well together. In the extras documentary it is said that this was essentially Grant’s first film in which he nailed the Cary Grant formula to be used from there onwards. Recommended for any fan of vintage cinema,
