Eternal life at what cost
Unrated classic similarly to gothic hammer horrors which looks at the ultimate question of eternal life and its inevitable meaning. Without giving too much away about the story is one of loss, a intense father grief causing him to do whatever it takes and how it relates to his discovery of the Asphyx. Great film which is beautiful restored perfectly on bluray showing off get set pieces and acting. Extras of some deleted scenes which is great. However little let down by the fact they didn't include the trailer or any archive photographs or posters even though both are ready available on the Internet pity. Robert Powell certainly adds to this film and makes it more memorable. Recommended vintage film.
