Season 2
Twenty-two years ago, Sam (series star Jared Padalecki) and Dean (series star Jensen Ackles) Winchester lost their mother to a mysterious and demonic supernatural force. As a result, their father, John (recurring guest star Jeffrey Dean Morgan - "Grey's Anatomy"), raised the brothers to be soldiers. He taught them about the paranormal evil that lives in the dark corners and on the back roads of America...and he taught them how to kill it. Sam, however, wanted nothing to do with this violent and dangerous life, and he left it behind, until the day Dean appeared on his doorstep with troubling news. Their father had gone missing on a "hunting trip." Sam and Dean have spent the last year cruising the highways of the United States in their 1967 Chevy Impala, searching for their lost father and encountering creatures that most people believe exist only in folklore, superstition and nightmares. Along the way, they have battled the various supernatural threats--and each other as well, for their sibling rivalries and conflicts were never far from the surface. Finally, they found their father, just as he was closing in on the Demon who claimed their mother.

Resurrection. Season 5
The Demonic War Continues.
Picking up at the end of season 4, after Sam unwittingly released Lucifer by killing the Demon Lillith, the brothers are miraculously transported aboard a plane from which they witness the beginning of the apocalypse. As Lucifer begins to bring about the end of the earth the brothers team up with the angel Castiel in order to track down the only ally that can help them now- God.

Season 6
The thrilling and terrifying journey of the Winchester brothers continues into the sixth season. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) spent their lives on the road, battling every kind of supernatural threat. And over the years, after dozens of bloody adventures, they finally closed in on their dark destiny.

Sam and Dean learned they were to be important and prophesied participants in the Apocalypse. Together, with the help of their friends - father-figure Bobby and fallen angel Castiel - they managed to avert the End and defeat Destiny itself. But at a terrible cost. For Sam sacrificed himself ... imprisoned in the same fiery pit that caged Lucifer. And Dean, heartbroken and alone, was forced to pick up the pieces of his life.

A year later, his past inevitably catches up to him - in the form of Sam... mysteriously freed from his cage in hell. And Sam needs his brother to re-join the fight - because a new threat is rising in the dark corners and backwoods of America.
