Terrible colouring, orange instead of red
1The colouring on this is so bad that it makes Kylo's lightsaber look more orange instead of red.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens
5I purchased the movie as a pre-order a few months before its actual release. The steelbook artwork looked amazing and I was not disappointed when it arrived. Talking about the arrival, the film actual arrived a day earlier than its actual release which was very nice indeed. I do hate ordering items only for them to arrive days after release. I can honestly say this has never happened to me since using Zavvi. The Blu-ray comes with 2 dics, 1 containing the movie the other containing extras from the film (deleted scenes, costume designs, script reviews etc). Was there enough on this disc? cause not being a Star Wars fan. If there was 4 discs worth of added Star Wars material there still would not be enough. The film is simply brilliant and that is why I saw this movie at the cinema 6 times. The film is enjoyable from the opening screen shot until the 135th minute. This movie HAS to be included in your library, you will not be disappointed.

Return of an old friend
5The Force Awakens sees a true return to form. JJ Abrams really captures what the audiences feel in love with the original three films. Theres use of cgi isn't as in your face as those in the prequels and the designs of the vehicles/set pieces/costumes are all in tone with the originals and gives it a retro feel to it. The story has some similarities to A New Hope but that is not a problem if you ask me. Rey, Finn, Poe, Kylo and not forgetting BB-8 fit into the series with the original cast seamlessly it's as if they've always been here. Bring on the Rogue One this December and Episode 8 next year. The steelbook is another triumph from Zavvi, keep up the good work.

A worthy episode!
5Having grown up with the original trilogy, they hold a special place in my heart! I watched them recorded from TV on VHS with the adverts cut out to save space on the tape! I was excited about the prequels and enjoyed them to an extent as I loved the back story but something did not sit right with me...for a time before the originals, everything seemed to advanced and fancy. The sequel however is an entirely different matter! It harks back to the originals and has so many elements! Everything seems more real and tactile! The new characters are excellent and to see the old faces is a joy! I hoped they would have more action but their parts were excellently played! This Blu Ray Steelbook was my treat to myself! The extras in it are extremely interesting as you would expect and the quality of the film is excellent as you would expect! I look forward to great things with episodes seven, eight and the spin off movies in between! Hopefully Disney won't flog the franchise to death but will make it richer and more interesting!

5Excellent film, like watching episode V all over again with a generous coating of cutting edge technology, this comes with a second bonus disc too.

You should make this Steelbook your "First Order".
5It's not often a film can hit your nostalgia buttons in the right sequence but TFA did just that. For all the promise the prequel trilogy claimed to offer, it just didn't seem to be set in the same universe as the original films. That's not the case for this episode. With a greater emphasis on practical effects, a chance to meet new and interesting characters and to catch up with those we grew up watching on TV all those years ago, we've been given a film that hits all the right marks and allows the freedom to tell new stories in this galaxy far, far away.... Onto the Steelbook. Strong focus on the Dark Side with Kylo Ren on the front and Captain Phasma on the back. A very nice image of the Millennium Falcon on the inside where both discs are housed. Only one thing I would have preferred would be to have the film title on the spine of the case. Instead you get the promotional character face images from top to bottom, which is still a nice detail. Good extra features include a making of that clocks in at just shy of 70 minutes, brief deleted scenes and some shorter featurettes that cover subjects including special effects and music. There will no doubt be a super special edition with more features down the line but this will do until that (and the 3D version I so desperately covet) arrives.

5seen the film in the picture and loved it, watching it on the small screen didn't change that opinion of the film, still awesome :-D The case is excellent the art work front and back, I would have possibly liked to see a BB-8 version but that would have lead me to purchase them both. Enjoyed the extra's especially Building BB-8 & Crafting Creatures.

5Outstanding service for a product that wasn't available anywhere else, delivered before time can't say anything more. Can't recommend buying from Zavvi enough, I will certainly be buying from them again.
