Amazing film... Broken steelbook
1This movie is fantastic. However my steelbook case arrived broken and I have yet to get a replacement sent to me.

I've got a bad feeling about this
2Let me start by saying that I love the film. I saw it numerous times in the cinema and I'm very happy to now own it. I also want to express that this steel book is quite beautiful. So why such a low score? Simply because Zavvi had decided to plaster an enormous price on this piece and lie about it. This steel book is NOT a Zavvi exclusive. This is the standard steel book made available by Disney. I was appalled to find (after preordering for a huge sum) that this isn't even the full package. For the price you would expect it to be in 3D, but it isn't. Still, Zavvi playing this off as one of their exclusives is horrible. I love the exclusives that come through this site. They look great and are unique for collectors myself. This one is quite easy to find, and for much cheaper than offered here.

Beautiful Design
5Quite easily one of my favourite steelbook designs of all time. I eagerly await the sequel and the Zavvi treatment.

Love it
4I love this steelbook, i didn't cancel my preorder as I wanted to get my hands on it before passing judgement and i wasn't disappointed... I don't mind the design, it looks awesome surrounded by my other starwars merch so won't be returning. The only problem I have with this steelbook is the lack of star wars logo on the actual steelbook but as long as the rest of the films in this trilogy follow the design i don't really mind. Overall, love this product.

VERY IMPRESSED
5I received this on the day of release and was very impressed with the steelbook. and also the film is amazing cant wait for the next to come out. would recommend this edition to anyone who is a fan of the franchise.

Absolutely gutted
1Advertised as the film poster and all I got was a really rubbish character on the front. Wouldn't mind a slipcase sending out to cover the worse Steelbook ever. Excellent film and utter c#@p Steelbook.

2There seem to be two extremes reviewing this steelbook, 1 star by those who hate the design and 5 stars by those who "love" it. I can fully understand people still purchasing it, but have a slight suspicion that some of these 5 star reviews are from Zavvi employees. I prefer the light side/dark side covers. I accept steelbooks are a cash grab and am happy to indulge, but they have to be more worthwhile efforts than this!

Great film, poor steelbook.
1After the beautiful steelbook releases for Episodes 1 to 6 in 2015 I presumed that the style of the steelbook would match the other versions which where exquisite. This steelbook isn't even the same material, its matte. The art work is OK but doesn't match quite the same, it doesn't have the orignal poster art on the back cover like the others, and once you've taken off the wrapping...It doesn't even say Star Wars any where on the box! Not even on the sleeve, instead there is some aweful picture art of the characters. I feel betrayed. Do not buy this steelbook if you expect it to fit into your previous collection, it won't.

Great film poor steelbook
1I'm writing this review based on the steelbook NOT the film itself, the Force Awakens is an incredible film and I'd give it 10/10 in any review. Sadly the same cannot be said about this steelbook. The inside of the case is book id absolutely fine. However the outside is just ghastly, worst cover design I've ever seen for a blu Ray let alone for a steelbook! My main gripe is that on the spine of the case it doesn't say the title of the film.. absolutely stupid decision. Honestly whoever designed this case does not deserve a job.
