5Seriously, what was so wrong with how this one looks? It’s a simple design, sure. But it’s much cooler when you have it in your hand and on your shelf. It’s The Empire Strikes Back, and the front is all Darth Vader, kinda makes sense. Don’t you think? It’s my favourite of the series and I’m impressed with it.

3Great looking steelbook for any collector (although odd design when compared to others in the set) so pleased to finally own an UHD version of this film. Disappointed that the case was scratched though and this has not yet been rectified!

Empire Strikes Back Steelbook
3I’m just going to reiterate what others have said really: what logic went into picking the teaser poster for the steelbook cover when every other one has gone with the theatrical poster? To make things worse, the glossy coating of the steelbook doesn’t even make the design “pop” and the outline of Vader doesn’t stand out. Arguably the Empire Strikes Back theatrical poster is the best of the saga. The film itself is incredible, as we all know. The 4K transfer isn’t as good as A New Hope I feel, with the HDR only shining in the last hour of the film, when we get Dagobah and the Cloud City duel.

5Wow what a beautiful steel book great front and a magnificent picture of Yoda on the back inside beautiful aswell they used a lot of original art work. Well done Zavvi

5All I've read on here is 1 star commentary on the steelbook art .... yes, it is minimal compared to the other designs - I am a big collector myself - but once you are over that, just review the actual content? And that content is stunning. One of the best of the Star Wars saga, 'Empire' started the trend of sequels to go darker & more emotional. Packed with some of the most memorable quotes, scenes & characters, 'Empire' benefits from the 4k restoration - the print's colours & detail are beautiful, while the sound upgrade makes the effects & music score ascend better than ever. It may not be the original cinema release that we all wish for on disc, but out of the Lucas-ized 'special' editions which received unnecessary CGI additions & altered sequences, 'Empire' survived with it's status intact, proving that dear old George couldn't even ruin the entry in which he didn't direct himself. PS It's a fact - Yoda had a kickin' mustache attempt going on. That's how sharp the quality is for this baby - get over the artwork & enjoy a classic that's never looked better!

Why didnt you listen!!??
1Why Disney didnt listen to the fans regarding artwork for this steelbook, is to me a mistery!! This does not match ANY of the other good looking Steelbooks in this series! Talk about a let down! Empire is considered by many fans to be the best Star Wars movie of all time. And this is the best Artwork you could make for it!!?? Shame on you Disney!! (And Zavvi for for not pulling the brakes!)
