Awesome!
Quite simply, one of the funniest films ever made. Groundbreaking for the time. A format that other filmmakers would come to copy for many years afterward. So happy to finally have this on steelbook!

Spinal Tap - 30th Anniversary Steelbook Edition
The complete manual on correct rockstar maneurism, from the lavish stagesettings ( miniature stonhenge with dancing little people) to the stuffed spandex pants (tinfoi wrapped as a huge male apendix). presented in Hi-def and an awesome steelbook. What´s not to love about this classic?

Spinal Tap - 30th Anniversary Steelbook Edition
A really nice Steelbook for any collector. The black glossy finish on the Steelbook is amazing while there are hours of bonus features to get through on the disc. Maybe a little overpriced for a back catalogue movie though.....

Missed opportunity
This review is in no way related to the actual film. The film is a classic 5 star rated film which ever way you look at it. The 3 star rating is for the actual packaging and product. At the end of the day, people who buy steelbooks are fans of the form, and ideally want something extra special over and above the standard plastic casing. Now whilst this steelbook copies some of the original released covers, and is in a fetching gloss finish, I can't help bu feel they missed a trick with doing something special. If you release a film specifically in a format that is specialising in the case and packaging, then concentrate all your efforts on that. As I said, it's a nice and standard affair for a steelbook; but when released as an anniversary steelbook, you expect a little bit more. The cover of the Zavvi Rocky Horror Show Steelbook release is a fine example of doing something different and special with a steelbook release.
