Skyfall is the 23rd instalment of the longest-running film franchise of all time, the James Bond series. Directed by Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Road to Perdition, Revolutionary Road), this action-packed film is a culmination of everything that makes 007 great, along with nods to the humour found in previous films.
James Bond (Daniel Craig) finds his loyalty to M (Judi Dench) tested as her past returns to haunt her. When MI6 comes under attack from a cyber-terrorist, 007 must do everything it takes to track down the threat. Javier Bardem (No Country for Old Men, Vicky Cristina Barcelona) is superb as the sinister villain, Raoul Silva, and as the film unfolds you discover his dark past. - A.D.

Skyfall
Daniel Craig continues the excellent work he's put in as Bond since his Casino Royal premier. Here he's a damaged Bond dealing with the aftermath of the previous films. The script makes numerous nods and references to the other Bond films for fans of the franchise to pick up on. Ben Whishaw makes an excellent Q and Fiennes' character provides an interesting ambiguity whilst Bardem plays another particularly creepy villain. In some ways, however, Skyfall is Dench's film with her flawed M fighting bureaucrats and a shakey past. Skyfall seems longer than the other Craig Bond films and involves some intriguing thoughfulness and emotion amidst the special effects and stunt laden mayhem. Good fun and worth it.

I've never really been a fan of James Bond movies and in particular Daniel Craig as James Bond. However, this movie is great and one of the best in the series.

Skyfall
Skyfall is an excellent action film in the true Bond tradition, if only they hadn't killed off 'M'.

great film at a great price
I saw Skyfall in the cinema and loved it. So when I saw the Blu-ray version and DVD for this price it was a 'no brainer'. The product arrived in just 2 days as well... excellent.

A great bond film
I highly recommend Skyfall to any movie fanatic or Bond fan because this contains all the things that made the originals good as well as having some nostalgic elements but also retaining what made Casino Royale good. This movie does not disappoint in any factor, story, direction or otherwise. Some of the best bits involve mentions of past films which make you laugh at how ridiculous they used to be.
