Loved It

I enjoyed the movie in the theater, and wanted to get a 3D version. When I bought it the other stores, in the U.S. had not said if they would be selling a 3D version. Have had lots of luck with Zavvi, so I bought from them. No regrets and would recomend them and I am buying from them again.

Lovely Steelbook

This is a great steelbook, even more special as it initially looked as if I had missed out. The embossed image give the steelbook a nice feel.

Great Prelude - Greater Prologue for 'A New Hope'

Awesome Star Wars Story, It served it's purpose as a stand alone film in the Star Wars Universe about the unsung heroes of the rebellion, Fantastic battles of a galaxy in an early civil war, and sweet cameos like Vader... Hope future Star Wars Stories us this as a blueprint tho give their characters more dimension... Great Film that like 'Force Awakens' gives you 'A New Hope' for the Star Wars Universe... J!

ROUGE ONE A STAR WARS STORY

Excellent film as far as Iam concerned, found it a bit darker than the other Star Wars films but the whole one a off their best loved it from beginning to end can't find a fault, but then again been following these films since the day they started coming out, I enjoy them for what they are pure escapism............

Fab

Better than expected is my point of view. Great special effects with Krennic being a viable villain. I do agree with some other previous reviews about the credibility of some supporting cast members but overall passable. Fast shipping too so arrived before release date. Thanks Zavvi.

I Am One With the Force and the Force Is With Me

Rogue One, a Star Wars story slice to the Star Wars lore prior to A New Hope. Now while it is not without its fault (like the obvious cuts and edits from the trailers), the film is still outstanding. It has a much more dark tone to say Star Wars episode IV, which is no bad thing in itself as anyone who was going to watch the film would have already had an idea of the ending. The Steelbook is nicely presented with the the 3d and normal Blu Ray along with the bonus disc inside. Artwork is the troopers wade through water.

Noice

Noice steenbok. More embossing/debossing would've been nice, but this steenbok is still fairly juicy.

Hope is not lost

The moment I saw the super laser being lowered into the Death Star I thought to myself "this is the best movie ever" Seeing as Star Wars: A New Hope is basically the best movie of all time, so if Rogue One is better that A New Hope that makes it the new "Best movie of all time. When I watched Rogue One (Twice) in the cinema I felt serenely gratified in how it fitted in along side the main 9 part Saga about the Skywalker family. I know lots of fan were miffed by the lack of crawl like the ones that proceed the 7 current saga films but there was no need for one. I'll explain. When I got this 3 disc Steelbook edition I wasn't going to watch it until I had time to watch A New Hope directly afterwards. When I did get the time I had 2 Blu-ray players set up so I could just switch from Rogue One to A New Hope as soon as Princess Leia said "Hope" before the end credits to R.O. What I chose to do was watch the crawl at the start of A New Hope till it was completely gone and then watched R.O. I was reminded that the opening paragraph of the crawl to A.N.H basically tells the viewer all they need to know about whats happening in Rogue One. The whole film is that paragraph, so there was no reason for a crawl at the head of Rogue One. You could argue that people unfamiliar with Star War might need a Crawl but as it's a stand alone film and just a side story to the main saga. In my opinion it doesn't need one. Regards the Steelbook. I have to say I am slightly disappointed. The temporary image used for the pre-sale of this edition was what I hoped would be the final artwork. I suppose the decided to design one that fit with the Other Saga Steelbooks. At least the film is still awesome and I have to recomend watching A New Hope directly after Rogue One so that you get the whole story seeing as there is no gap in the Star Wars timeline between both films. Enjoy
