Robot man
4Robocop is a classic film and this is a great steelbook. I hadn't seen this film for a long time and I'd forgotten how bloody films used to be.

Ordiary blu ray - nice steelbook
4Obviously this steelbook is a must for any collector, but it's not all good news. The front of the steelbook has the 'ROBOCOP' name embossed, a nice touch. There's a rather average back cover art of robocop and ED209. The inside of the steelbook has a nice graphic of Dick Jones showing off ED209. The Blu-Ray and DVD are nothing to get excited about. This is a 27 year old movie, but the Blu-Ray is region locked to region B. North American buyers (and steelbook collecting is a global phenomenon) are going to be buying this only for the metal case. The Blu-Ray transfer is better than the DVD but Robocop deserves better, this Blu-Ray has no bonus features and average picture quality. Perhaps we should be thankful; with the current obsession for 'teal and orange', a remastered Robocop would probably have a totally different colour palette. If you're a steelbook collector, and a Robocop fan, you won't regret buying this Limited Edition steelbook. But it could have been better.
