IT'S 22 YEARS LATER, AND NORMAN BATES IS COMING HOME.
Just when you thought it was safe to step back in the shower, Norman Bates returns in this expertly crafted sequel to Alfred Hitchcock s acclaimed horror classic.
Deemed fit to return to society more than two decades years after his original crimes, Norman Bates has returned to his family mansion and adjacent motel. Joined by an unlikely house guest in the form of young Mary (Meg Tilly), things seem to be looking up for Norman until the grisly murders start up afresh. Has Norman really put his terrible past behind him, or is he losing his grip on sanity all over again?
Aided by a fiendishly clever script from Fright Night director Tom Holland, Psycho II is regarded by many as one of the most successful horror sequels of all time, with a plot that will keep you guessing until the very end...

Arguably the best psycho
It just opinion i suppose. But really i find psycho 2 has a more diverse story than the first one. People trying to drive Norman crazy again. It has such an emotional brillisnt score too by Jerry Goldsmith. One of my favourite film scores actually. Yes i really love this film so i have seen it many times. But it has never looked soo great. Well worth purchase. Loaded with well worth seeing features. Only bad thing about this release. Well tbh arrow are wuite quilty of this, i have come across this little down side a couple of other times already with arrow releases. Whoever mssters the multi channel audio has really messed it up for jomr cinema. They have all the talking coming out if both left and right channels instead of the centre as it is supposed to. But fortunately all home cinema receivers have fx settings to make the talking come out of the centre as it should. It is a bit disappointing as the sound itself is amazingly clear. But for anyone who is just watching this through tv speakers this is not an issue. But i would love to find a way to contact arrow about thos aa it's about the third release i come accross that they done this on

Psycho 2
Very well made sequel to Hitchcock's classic Psycho. Picture and sound make this disc worth purchasing for this reason alone, but a good deal of features discussing the film and making of it are icing on the cake. Woud definately recommend this title to any movie fan and especially fans of the original. Packing and delivery from Zavvi also well done with fast delivery to Norway and secure disc.
