Decent Steelbook
4The movie itself is decent and I'm sure kids will really enjoy it. The steelbook however, is a slight letdown from usual Disney quality. This steelbook has no embossing or debossing and is sadly lacking the title from the spine. The artwork is good and it looks great in hand.

5This is a great children's movie. The Steelbook is a nice addition to my movie collection. Highly recommended for family viewing.

Very good film and steelbook
4"Pete's Dragon" is a a pleasant surprise, a well-made family film that makes you care very much about Pete and his Dragon nicknamed Elliot. A superb cast includes Robert Redford, Wes Bentley and Karl Urban. The special effects for the Dragon itself are brilliantly impressive- love the shiny green when you touch the dragon, cinematography makes full use of the stunning New Zealand forest location. The steelbook has no title on anywhere just to warn people off who don't like this, I, however, am not that bothered as the artwork is stunning on the steelbook and you have the title on the outer card anyway. Overall, great edition.

Fun family film....
4This is (as the title of this review says) a fun family film. I wasn't too sure about it at first to be honest but it is well worth a watch. Knowing the original version of the film meant I had some idea about the story... but it is presented in a fresh an updated way for todays audience. If you enjoy feel good films you will most likely appreciate this. Now for the steelbook itself. A very nice looking presentation and overall I am pleased with with it... but it does have one problem (that is beginning to bug me a bit) and that is it has no title on it at all. I can accept no title on the front although having said that I do prefer it if it has one. But having no title on the spine is (for me at least) a tad annoying. When it's on the shelf with all the others all you can see to identify which film it is is a small picture of Pete sitting on the dragons back and the Disney logo at the top. Some might not have a problem with this but how difficult can it be to actually put a couple of words on it? In conclusion then... a nice steelbook but could have been superb with the title on the spine. Then it would have had five stars.
