Dazzling Restoration from Original VistaVision Elements!
Cary Grant is the screen's supreme man-on-the-run in his fourth and final teaming with Master of Suspense Alfred Hitchcock. He plays a Manhattan adman plunged into a realm of spy (James Mason) and counterspy (Eva Marie Saint) and variously abducted, framed for murder, chased, and in a signature set-piece, crop-dusted.
He also hangs for dear life from the facial features of Mount Rushmore's Presidents. Savour one of Hollywood's most enjoyable thrillers ever in this State-of-the-Art Restoration: its Renewed Picture Vitality will leave you just as breathless as the chase itself.

North By Northwest - Steelbook Edition
North By Northwest - Steelbook Edition is one of Hitchcock's best, and it is interesting even after repeated viewings. The cast is marvelous, especially Cary Grant. The Steelbook case (which is reason enough to buy the disc) is very appealing and well designed. The video transfer is also very good, notwithstanding some grain (which must have been in the original negative) during the scenes in the dark. Finally, the audio does full justice to the gripping Bernard Herrmann's score. It's a wonderful package.

North by northwest
North By Northwest is a great film by Alfred hitchcock and a great looking steelbook. I also received great service from Zavvi.

North By Nothwest steel book
North By Northwest is maybe the best of all Hitchcock films, this is a fitting presentation on bluray disk. From the opening titles to the clamax on Mount Rushmore the film succeeds in all aspects. The soundtrack is fabulous, the cinematography faultless, if you have an interest in classic films this is one of the best! Plenty of extras on the disk gives much additional entertainment all presented wonderfully well in the steel book format.
