Nikita - Season 1

I thought that the treatment given to the Series was quite good. I have the original Nikita and really enjoyed it. I was really impressed by Maggie Q, and her attitude in the main role of Nikita. It is a tough act to follow after the original. Hats off to her and the rest of the crew.

Based upon the original Nikita series and the Assassin film. Starring some very good actors and a good storyline that has kept me watching through to the second series.

Nikita - Season 1 Blu-Ray

Maggie Q knows how to kick ass and this is definitely worth the investment in Blu-Ray.

Great spy vs spy series

This series loosely picks up where the previous Nikita series left off. In and on itself it is a fun, action-packed spy VS spy series that moves along a fast space. Each episode has a self-contained story (episodic) that is resolved at the end of the episode but at the same time also moves along the series as a whole (the overarching story line) For a TV series, this Blu-ray set has strong to very-strong video quality. Colours are nice with good contrast. A fine layer of natural grain is visible but absolutely not intrusive and detail is very good (pores on faces are visible, etc). Great video quality! Lossless surround offers some additional immersion with gunshots flying from left to right, back to front. The sound field could have been spaced a bit more but all in all a strong audio track for a TV series Fans of action/spy series will love this and the quality is definitely worth it. A worthwhile buy without questions asked!

Nikita - Season 1 makes for fantastic TV with the very sexy Maggie Q in the lead role. If you like 24 or the James Bond films then you will love this!
