A Bold Remake of a Classic TV Series
This film is unlike many remakes of famous TV shows from the 80's and earlier. While many of the elements from the TV show "Miami Vice" are present, this film is something of a visual departure. Not exactly loved when it was released in cinemas on its original release, but time hs been kind to this movie (in my opinion) and it is ripe for rediscovery. To that end, 88 films have done a great job in presenting two cuts of the film along with great supplementary materials.
