Superb series which gets better and better the longer it goes on. Even better than the movies and with a fraction of the budget. Superbly developed storylines and characters.

Marvel-ous entertainment.
"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." started off a bit slow (but good), but became an excellent series around the 15 episode mark. This Blu-ray set contains the entire first season in full 1080p high definition. In short, if you like the show, this is the best way to enjoy it. And Zavvi's low price makes it very affordable to own this season.

Starts slow, but picks up!
This show starts out really formulaic. They find a bad guy, get beat by him, then turn it around and stop him by the end of the episode. However, the show takes a fantastic turn once it intersects the plot of Captain America: The Winter Solider. There's a plot twist that I didn't see coming, and it turns the whole show around. If you're a Marvel fan and haven't seen this yet, definitely grab this season!

WoW! Its like watching 22 mini movies that keep getting better and better. There are lots of references to Thor and other Avengers, and you also find out how he survived his fatal stabbing.

S.H.I.E.L.D Season 1
If your a die hard fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe or if you a new comer to the whole superhero genre then Agents of shield is a real treat. Its a rollercoaster ride that twists and turns as the season progresses with some outstanding acting and action sequences that just keep you coming back for more. There are some mid season tie ins with Thor the dark world movie and Captain America the winter soldier towards the end it just shows you how enriched and multi-layered this series is. Give it a try it will have you hooked from start to finish and watch out for a guest Asgaurdian too...
