Nice set but...
Nice set but I prefer the transfer of the previous release. That said this still looks good but just has more print damage than previous release. Gas all the same great special features.

Moronic Earthlings VS Space Vampires
Fantastic movie at a time where nudity wasn't frowned upon but embraced, Cult Classic for a reason.

Arrow Delivers Once Again
Arrow Videos original release of Lifeforce was a welcome addition however their new 4K Scan and rerelease of Lifeforce is a huge improvement from the original, the picture is more vibrant with wonderful colour improvement throughout, the picture is sharp with very little grain so for a movie made in 1986 it looks quite amazing, the 5.1 DTS HD Master Soundtrack also seems to have been given some attention with the soundstage getting a complete workout, your rears and surrounds will certainly give you an ear popping experience. Lifeforce was a huge budget sci-fi epic when it was made and its obvious that screen writer Dan O Bannon was somewhat trying to capture that same magic he has previously given the world with his screenplay for Alien 1979,although not as big a sensation on its release as was expected it has gone on to become a true cult classic, the bluray contains many exellent special features including a wonderful making of documentary, interviews with the cast today and both the theatrical and international cut the second being the better by far.A welcome addition to anyones movie collection.

Lifeforce Bluray
The quality of the bluray and the packaging is great as always from arrow. The Film itself is a sci-fi horror film that isn't bad for a low budget film. This is one for those who like a weird mix of sci-fi vampires and horror.
