Young Danny Madigan (Austin O'Brien) is a lonely 11-year-old boy who escapes from his bleak reality by watching the action adventure movies of his favorite film character, Jack Slater (Arnold Schwarzenegger). When his best friend, Nick the projectionist, gives him a special ticket to the new Slater film, Danny is magically transported into Jack's world, where the good guys always win.
Danny becomes his helper as Jack battles a trio of nefarious bad guys, Benedict (Charles Dance), Vivaldi (Anthony Quinn) and The Ripper (Tom Noonan). But things get out of hand when Benedict steals Danny's magic ticket stub and transports himself into the real world, where crime can, and often does, pay. Jack and Danny must leave fictional Los Angeles for real-life New York and battle the villains without the aid of movie magic or stuntmen.

Steelbook looks awesome
One of my favourite movies as a child and now I get to see it in stunning 4K plus the artwork of the steelbook is excellent a must have for the collection.

Originally I missed getting a copy but had better luck the second time around fortunately, I love the movie and the design so I'm happy overall

Excellent Arnie movie
This is one of Arnold's greatest movies, the fact that it makes fun of his entire career was a bold move and they absolutely nailed it. Wonderful 4K transfer with a very honest commentary track. Arnold was at his absolute best here.

Fantastic
Just arrived today, 2 weeks earlier than expected. Lovely steelbook with fantastic artwork. This movie bombed on release after the horrendous decision to go up against Jurassic Park but was actually one of Arnold's best movie's. Wonderful film from a bygone era we'll never get back.

This is the design that we all remember from the movie poster. So distinctive and stylish. So much better looking than the standard 4k release.

Nice upgrade.
Most people will have seen this ,by no means great but definitely worth a purchase in this form.The steelbook is excellent and the uptick in picture and sound are really very good,recommended.
