Kes
This is a great film about a poor, working class kid that takes on falconry and brings up a kestrel. Its an amazing story that Ken Loach adapted to film along with the author, Barry Hines, the author of a Kestrel for a Knave. The transfer is also really clean and its well worth the watch.

KES
Truly brilliant all time classic British tale of working class life set in Barnsley Yorkshire st the end of the 1960s which, as this film vkesrky show, was far from "swinging" for everyone . Non the less the film does contain amid the often harsh exterior some truly sublime & deeply moving moments which most of us can relate to, particularly if born at the Dane time ssvyjevfilm and if the sane teenage years. It's a film all the family can richly enjoy with ith laughter & tears Kes is simply one if the most wonderful films British cinema has ever produced !.
