When a retired hit man is forced back into action by a brutal Russian mobster, he hunts down his adversaries with the ruthlessness that made him a crime underworld legend in John Wick, a stylish tale of revenge and redemption.
After the sudden death of his beloved wife, John Wick receives one last gift from her, a beagle puppy named Daisy, and a note imploring him not to forget how to love. But John's mourning is interrupted when his 1969 Boss Mustang catches the eye of sadistic thug Iosef Tarasov who breaks into his house and steals it, beating John unconscious and leaving Daisy dead. Unwittingly, they have just reawakened one of the most brutal assassins the underworld has ever seen.
John's search for his stolen vehicle takes him to a side of New York City that tourists never see, a hyper-real, super-secret criminal community, where John Wick was once the baddest guy of all.

Great film (sad about the puppy) well acted by all, so in all, A good all round action film plenty of what you expect, if you haven't seen the john wick films then I highly recommend, they are worth getting.

Don't f*@k with John Wick...
Very classy action film with brutal, believable fight scenes. John Wick is a good character for which Keanu Reeves is well cast. Support cast are also good. Well worth a watch, roll on John Wick 2!!

Great film
The best Keanu film since the original matrix and the best revenge film in a long time. If you're gonna get mad and kill everyone, get mad and kill everyone! John Wick gets the job done, in some style too, took me back to the days of John Woo almost Zavvi - steel book this please :)

Great film but arrived late
Love his film however it arrived in the post nearly a week after it was released which I found odd as I had pre ordered it well in advance.

John Wick
Cracking movie! The best movie Keanu Reeves has done since the Matrix, thoroughly enjoyed this film and have recommended it to friends and family with good feedback from all. A definite must see (and now a John Wick 2 in the pipeline also - nice one!).

Baba Yaga
What a great film this was & a great return to form for Keanu Reeves. Here he plays the title character who has suffered a great personal tragedy as the film starts. He is then attacked & robbed by a Russian mobsters son. The mobster isn't too happy about this as John used to be known as "Baba Yaga" (the man you'd send to kill the boogeyman). You can probably guess the rest but it's done with such great style & choreography that it will leave you begging for more (a sequel is in the works). Highly recommended. PS - Come on Zavvi, if any film deserved a Steelbook, it's this one.
