Iron Sky
Iron Sky is a hilarious dark comedy, that doesn't take itself too seriously.

Amazing Visuals
Considering that this film was done on a shoestring budget by today's standards ($10 million) it is an impressive feat of work. It is a visual feast for the eyes and the VFX is incredible. The leads are a hoot to watch and the fact that the German speaking roles are played by well known German actors gave it more authority. It is a fun none too serious poke at a lot of the real problems that we face today, even if the film makers didn't intend it to be.

don't expect reality
The movie is funny and shows that from the right point of view every political statement seems legit. Furthermore the movie has everything you need: Action, a love story, social criticism and lots of prejudices.

Very good Comedy
It's always fascinating how ingenious little movies lately, especially in alleged high price-genre science fiction arise. Humor is obviously something very individual and not Iron Sky operated safely mainstream humor, but just the second half of the film when the Nazis plenty absurd moon on earth makes all too realistic reactions provoke a lot of fun.

Iron Sky
'Iron Sky' is a very fun return to B-movies with absolutely excellent special effects and music (way better than it deserves considering the tiny fan sourced budget). It's the closest to a Mel Brooks movie I have seen. Not everyone will like the ridicule of the US but I found it biting and funny. There's a lot of in jokes for those familiar with their memes. Picture quality is excellent on the Blu ray and shows all the detail of the space combat at the end. The extras though are a major let down. There is a number of trailers and a 15 minute behind the scenes footage with no commentary or explanation, it's not very informative or entertaining. Considering the behind the scenes videos that were released on the net leading up to the movies release it's baffling why they were left off the Bluray release.

Awesomeness.
You can't say that this is a bad movie. If you have seen many trash and if you like to see trash. Then this is one of the best trash movies ever. When you plan to watch this movie, you have to know that this is not serious.

Dreadfully poor, unfunny mess
I've probably seen over a thousand films in my lifetime and Iron Sky ranks among the very worst I have ever seen (and I've seen some real stinkers). Terrible acting, terrible "effects", terrible plot, terrible jokes, terrible script, terrible directing... need I go on. The premise sounds awesome but I'm afraid the end result really is awful. This idea could have been done really well with half an ounce of care and intelligence - it's such a shame it's an idea that has been wasted forever on this trash.

Vunderbar
Iron Sky has crisp graphics, extras and an original story line which make it a winner. More fun than Battleship and has better jokes. :D Miss it at your peril!
