Ben, a local landscape gardener who falls for Mia, unaware of her transgender status, is played by Jonas Armstrong (Robin Hood, The Street). Vincent Regan (300, Clash Of The Titans) is John, a dangerous local farmer.

Very little in the way of miss
The subject matter of Hit and Miss may be a little confrontational for some viewers but it is a show that definitely rewards those who stick with it. It's handled in such a delicate and understated manner that the interplay between characters become the focal point of the series rather than some of the other graphic content. Chloe Sevigny has never been better.

Hit and Miss Blu-ray
The concept of Hit and Miss may be more than a bit unrealistic but the delivery grounds this unusual concept in firm reality. The acting is always first-rate and the themes dealt with are not your normal run-of-the-mill TV topics. When was the last time the central character in a TV show was a transexual? It might not be for everyone, and may take a few episodes to get into but this is another gem from the creator of the original Shameless. Highly recommended!
