Far, far in the future, or perhaps the distant past... 500 billion displaced humans long to return to the planet they still refer to as home. Captain Harlock is the one man standing between the corrupt Gaia Coalition and their quest for complete intergalactic rule. Seeking revenge against those who wronged both mankind and himself, the mysterious space pirate roams the universe in his battle cruiser, the Arcadia, defiantly attacking and pillaging enemy ships. Gaia Fleet leader Ezra sends his younger brother, Logan to infiltrate the Arcadia and assassinate Harlock. But Logan will soon discover that things are not always what they seem and that legends are born for a reason. Based on original characters and stories created by Leiji Matsumoto. Includes both the 2D and 3D HD version of the movie on Blu-ray disc, plus the bonus DVD disc containing the original Japanese edit with English subtitles and over 40 minutes of extra content.

excellent
I was a bit sceptical on this movie, but now I can say the image is crisp, the 3D is stunning as in depth as in front of TV; Clearly things popping out of the screen. I'm new with this genre but it's more than worthwhile to buy. Not for kids ;)

Great Movie
A great movie in a very good pac for a low price. If you are a fan of Sf and anime this is must have.

Awesome
I loved this movie. The characters are great, the story is refreshing and has some nice twists. There's a lot of mention of the Japanese version which, although comes on a DVD with the Blu Ray, I have yet to watch so I cannot comment on this but even so, the English dub version was very good, i'd definitely recommend it.

Harlock Space Pirate Steelbook 2D 3D
Fantastic animation great film only pity Japanese version on Dvd not Blu Ray as this is longer version of film would have been nice to have both discs in box Blu Ray but well worth getting as has been very hard to get copy in England till now great to have for my collection of anima.
