Excellent choice
5I already enjoyed the movie two times on IMAX screens, so I was quite sceptical about it's 3D power at home. But the Blu-ray is simply amazing - great 3D, oscar-worthy sound and a huge bunch of specials. It's a great pick!

Gravity Steelbook
5Absolutely loved this film. I am a big fan of the director, so was eagerly awaiting this film for years. It did not disappoint, saw it at the cinema with my wife & it blew both of us away. What an experience. As a film it is quite unlike anything you are likely to ever see. Visually breathtaking, technically incredible, it is an exhilarating roller coaster ride. But it's the heart of the film which most impresses. It never forgets that it is a character based human drama. Have seen it a couple of times more on bluray & it's still as exciting an experience as the first time. The human drama aspect grows with repeated viewing. The steelbook is a very nice affair, quite subtle & understated, with just the right artwork on the front & back. Would have preferred a little less writing on the covers. But it's still a lovely steelbook. The visual/audio quality of the film is superb & there is a massive almost 2 1/2 hour documentary which is fascinating & covers everything. So do not hesitate to buy this very special film & you won't be disappointed.

5Saw this in the cinema and it was amazing, so owning this was a no brainer! I think this will be up there with some of my favourites now. The special features are really interesting, i was shocked when they said it took 4 years just to edit this film, and swapping the camera orientation of the first 5-6 minutes took 3 months to render!

5Saw this film at the cinema and was absolutely blown away! Bit like Sandra off the space station! Wanted to keep it forever and this lovely presentation piece is well worth it. The film has been described as limited on story but this is just not so. Any more story and it would be far fetched. It is a cinematic triumph and fabulous 3D which is not normally my preferred medium but on this movie - a must! Thoroughly recommend

FANTASTIC!!
5I didn't see this in the cinema which I deeply regret, so when I ordered the steelbook I was excited to say the least! The steelbook it's self was ok - maybe a bit of embossing wouldn't hurt but it was still a lovely package. The film was breathtaking - it really took you on a journey of fear and sadness but with the predictable ending you had longed for. A must see and defiantly worth all the Oscars it won!!
