Full Metal Cracking
As with The Shining 4K restoration this film really benefits from the clean up. I have seen it so many times before but when a release makes you feel your noticing new things you know your in for a treat. The s Special features are roughly the same as previous blu ray copies But it’s the transfer that is king and it warrants the extra few pounds.

the first act training sequence delivers an experience of cinema equal to actual reality it portrays as told to me by my uncle, a veteran. i never forget sitting beside him in the theatre as we watched this masterpiece.
