We Did All This In The 60's
This remarkable mini series documents mans conquest of suggestion to finally landing on the moon and the the further missions up to 1972 and the final mission of Apollo 17. From Kennedys famous speech to congress to the tragedy of Apollo 1 to the building of the mighty Saturn 5,Armstrongs first step and the final episode that pays tribute to all them men who left earth to fullfill mans ultimate dream its all here not to mention a who's who of Hollywood actors and actresses playing each iconic role. This remastered Bluray has been rendered into a 16.9 ratio, the original was showen in 4.3 so there is a bit of loss of picture due to the new aspect and due to the new HD picture most of the effects and there are hundreds of them to be sure were all redone unfortunately some of the new effects dont seem to meet up to the originals but who's to care, this is a remarkable journey to watch, you will laugh, you will cry and you will be in awe at what you are watching always knowing that we did all of this between 1960 and 1972 and yet to date all we have done to further our exploration of space is build a giant space station that now orbits the earth.Still all in all this is must have, the pictures is stunning, the new Dolby Atmos soundtrack puts you right in the seat with the Astronaugnts and to be honest gives a sense of wonder as to just how incredible the mind of mandkind can be when out to the test
