Reliable as always!
Another great addition to the collection range with a wide variety of features to boot! Some cracking classic serials here, (and some that might take a few attempts to complete). Worth it for any fan who’s collecting the lot and can’t wait for the eventual slim packaging. Zavvi were easy and reliable to purchase from as always. Now living in ROI this was  a slightly slower but guaranteed delivery.Â

Exceptional Quality and Value
These Special Release Doctor Who Complete Season Blu Ray Sets have become the definitive must-have items for any serious collector of the shows TV archival past. The love and attention that the individual stories receive, both in terms of sound and picture enhancement, by its dedicated team of restorers, is nothing short of miraculous. Given that much of the original archive is held either on original PAL Video Masters, or on the much inferior telecine, expectations were fairly low that the process would produce anything that was notably better than the original DVD releases. It is very satisfying to report that this assumption has been proven incorrect with each and every release of the these sets, the current Season 9 set being no exception. Season 9 sits in the middle of Jon Pertwee's Era as the Doctor, and is one of my personal favourites. There are a wealth of extras with this release, some of which are brand new, the others are those that existed on the DVD releases, all this contributes to the incredible value I have already mentioned. If you are a Doctor Who Fan, then these are absolutely essential items to own. Anyone who questions whether there is any point in an HD release of content that wasn't made on film, or HD digital recordings, will be surprised by the results. As a further note, I would definitely recommend Zavvi as the go-to supplier of these items: the pre-order process was simple and the item was received on time and in good sturdy packaging. The item was delivered by Royal Mail with tracking information provided.

Prompt and in excellent condition
Arrived earlier than expected, which was a lovely surprise, well packaged and maintained. I’ve watched Day of the Daleks so far and the picture quality is improved although maybe not as much as other stories I’ve seen in this range. Great service all round though, recommend the company and I’ll always recommend a Dr Who boxset!
