Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook - Limited to 2000
20th Anniversary Edition - First Time on Blu-ray in the UK.
When a mysterious man walks into a bar with nothing but a guitar case, he is believed to be El Mariachi (Antonio Banderas), a gunslinger that is said to be walking the town of Santa Cecilia in hopes of exacting revenge upon someone. When asked to open his guitar case what is revealed is a guitar case full of guns, El Mariachi shoots down the barman and all of the gunmen in the bar. Before killing the barman he asks for Bucho. It is now clear that he is looking for Bucho, a notorious drug baron that runs the town, to settle an old score. But settling this score won't be easy as Bucho has armed associates all over the town and they are now searching for El Mariachi. But he does not intend on running.
Robert Rodriguez carries on from where El Mariachi left off in this slick and often humorous action thriller with a great supporting cast including an unforgettable cameo from Quentin Tarantino. (Matt Fairfield)

A classic by all means film-
A beaut of a steelbook highly collectable (Debossing-inbossed) a mix & match of both. The only small drawback is that The el Mariachi 10 min short is not included. Other than that brilliant. Shipped & arrived very quickly. In immaculate condition. Nice 1 Zavvi I actually bought 2 pieces & gave I as a gift. Again brilliant!

What a gorgeous steelbook. The front artwork is very good, the skull with gold bullet tooth and embossed lettering. The back artwork is lovely featuring a three flower rose. The film itself is a mixture of action, romance and comedy and features an hilarious piece with Quinton Tarintino which had me in a state of laughter. For good old fashioned adventure this film is a must, it has a bit of something for everyone and I am pleased i have this in my steelbook collection.
