Great DC Animated Storytelling

For all those that like to collect superhero animated movies, then this is one you can’t let slip. True to say that WB/DC don’t reach the extreme high standards of technical animation on this but it’s still top notch and the most important part is the story itself consisting of the life of the villain (sometimes antihero) Slade Wilson (aka. Desthstroke). Deathstroke from the Bat-family of villains but more associated with the scourge of the Teen Titans gives us a background into his life from family to ethics behind his vision of right and wrong but also with the added ingredient of him being a paid assassin who always honours his contract. In this one we have his wife (who once trained Slade) and his son who is kidnapped and with this finds that personal sentiments in the shape of “love” are sometimes not enough to translate to everyone else in the same way how you feel. In other words... “Actions are stronger than words!”. I highly recommend this. DC and Warner Bros never get animation wrong!

Animated Action

While not the best take on the character or the best of the DC animated movies, it is also far from the worst and brings a lot of interesting ideas to the table. Definitely worth a watch.
