This dramatic artwork perfectly embodies the harshness of the film, with a dark matt surface and a red gloss finish to highlight the features along the right side of Charles Bronson's face.
In 1974, a misguided 19 year old decided he wanted to make a name for himself and so, armed with a sawnoff shotgun and a head full of dreams, he attempted to rob a post office. Swiftly apprehended and originally sentenced to 7 years in jail, Michael Peterson has subsequently been behind bars for 34 years and transformed into Charles Bronson, Britain's most notorious prisoner. For this controversial but critically acclaimed film from director Nicolas Winding Refn (the Pusher trilogy), Tom Hardy physically transformed himself for the role and gives a performance described by The Sun as "utterly brilliant".

Bronson Steelbook
This steelbook has incredible artwork. The artwork on the front is really nicely done and the artwork on the back and on the inside is as equally as nice. The Blu Ray disc is excellent quality and I would highly recommend anyone thinking of buying this steelbook to do so.

Bronson steelbook
Incredible movie and performance by Tom Hardy- He deserved awards for this. This has to be the nicest steelbook I have ever seen and this is a must own for any fan of Bronson. The actual content on the disc is exactly the same as the original release from all those years ago.

An eccentric violent masterpiece!
Thanks to Zavvi for releasing this great film by the versatile and stylish director Nicolas Winding Refn. For anyone who likes their cinema left of centre this movie might be for you. It's an interesting character study (based on a true story) with James Hardy turning the performance of a lifetime. Visuals and soundtrack are great, with Scott Walkers strangely hypnotic and beautiful song 'The Electrician' making an appearance. The steelbook's presentation and sleek design is wonderful, and an absolute bargain at the price I got it for. Check it out! It's Refn a few years before "Drive" fame, and still my favorite of his, to date. Awesome stuff!!

Nice steelbook but no DTS-sound and subtitles
5 stars, if it was better sound than LPCM and subtitles were included - a little disapointing to me because the artwork is real unique.

Excelent release of modern arthouse classic
"Bronson" is one of Nicolas Wending Refn`s best films. Surpassed only by "Drive". Tom Hardy does a career making performance as Michael Peterson aka Bronson, England`s most notorios prisoner. The steelbook is a real eye-catcher. Any collector or filmbuff can happily display this at his/her shelf. They event went so far as printing the same artwork on the disk. Very apreciated as most steelbooks contain the standard release disk with the standard artwork. Very nice.
