5Yet again Zavvi have brought out a fantastic steelbook to add to my ever growing collection. I don't think that I have to give a review for the awesomeness that is The Avengers as you would have to of just arrived on earth or been hiding under a rock for the last 3 years  I don't usually double dip on Steelbooks but as this had the addition of 3D I had to get it, not only is it feature different pictures on its case but includes a fantastic magnetic lenticular picture too. I hope that Zavvi do the same with the earlier entries to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as like many others I am without steelbooks for Ironman 1&2  This is a must buy for any Marvel fan or Steellbook collectors. Well done Zavvi well done indeed.

5This box just adds to the whole experience, which is what a good movie should be. It should be about the whole experience as a whole. For me as a collector, it is a big thing to get such a case and I always buy from zavvi. Their efforts are second to none. The box is really nice, it has the usual discs for this movie in the same positions as usual, but the outside is where the beauty is. The image moves as you move the box from left to right. I've never seen anything like it on a steelbook. If they bring out anymore, I will be buying them too. MARVEL FILMS RULE!

Disappointing steelbook
3Nothing much to say about the movie other than it's one of the best sci-fi action movies for years. As for the steelbook, it's good that Zavvi have gone with poster art this time, but the finish really should have been glossy for such an important release and the lenticular is pathetic. It doesn't line up with the rest of the art, the effect doesn't work properly as the characters just slide left and right rather than rotate on the spot as should be the case with a lenticular. This could and SHOULD have been the greatest steelbook Zavvi have ever done if it wasn't for the corner cutting. Movie: 5/5 Art: 5/5 Finish: 2/5 Lenticular 0/5 Overall: 3/5 (with special mention to the fact that 3D is also included)

Awesome steelbook
5The steelbook is great, The Lenticular magnet is great but it doesnt line up with artwork on the steelbook which is a shame. Overall a great release from Zavvi and Marvel/Disney.
