A Beautiful Arrow Release of a Twisted Film!
Arrow ALWAYS puts out fantastic releases. They take extra time to make sure everything is done correctly. Their releases are far superior than any other major company out there. This release came with a Blu-Ray, a DVD, and a pretty thick booklet. I would have gladly paid MORE money for this release. This is how beautiful it was. The steelbook is gorgeous. The film itself is a slow-burner. Things start off pretty slow. And you're just sitting there, waiting for something interesting to happen. And then it hits you light a freight train. Believe me when I say that this film goes from a slow-burn to a very uncomfortable feeling. The transition is so smooth, you don't even have time to prepare for it. And let me just say... That torture scene with the needles was enough to make me cringe. And this is coming from someone that has tattoos and piercings. And that was even too much for me to handle. It's definitely worth every penny.

AUDITION STEELBOOK
Audition is another great arrow video release. The transfer of the movie is amazing, the special features are all top notch, and the booklet is a great add-on that didn't need to be there, but I'm definitely glad that it is. The artwork on the front is fantastic, showing the tone of the movie before you even open it, and the inside art is awesome too. My only problem with this steelbook was the fact that the artwork on the book was a little disappointing, as it is a little too minimalist, but aside from that, one of my favourite steelbooks that I own!

Very good edition
This is one of Takashi Miike's best movies. The Arrow edition is excellent: the transfer is very good and the bunus materials are very interesting. Highly recommended.

Exhausting film with very disturbing soundfield.
Really worth it! Steelbook was simple, but very stylish. Both DVD and blu-ray look good, but of course there's huge difference between them. Must-to-buy-object to every cinefile :)

Excellent packaging for an excellent movie
I have seen this movie in cinemas when it came out... It was rumoured to be a great japanese movie that is very unsettling... for the first two thirds of the movie I was kind of bored (I later found out that this was exactly the intention of the director) and then, as the last third kicked in, it became this Lynch/Cronenberg/Argento mind-bender... People started leaving the cinema and my cousin (who was there with me) questioned my sanity and the reason why I would ever drag him into a movie like that... That being said, this movie has a special place in my heart and I find it one of Takashi Miike's best movies to this date. this is a new master and the quality couldn't be better. Also the steelbook packaging is worth it. I think this edition with all the extras and quality is probably as good as it can get! Full 5 stars from me!
