All 7 James Bond Zavvi Exclusive Steelbooks
These boxes are an absolute delight. Blu-ray quality and cover design perfect .. well almost. There are three reasons why I have given the steelbooks 4 and not five stars. 1: Since the collection was supposed to be the movies concerning 'Spectre' I have to ask myself: Where is Dr.No? Why has it been replaced by For Your Eyes Only? The only connection with 'Spectre' in this movie is the pre-credit sequence. The rest has nothing to do with with the organisation what so ever. 2. Many of your steelbooks have various pictures on the inside. The Bond boxes have only the number 007 written across the inner sleves.I think that is a bit dissapointing. It would have been nice had the posters (or a few pictures) been used instead. 3. The anounced extras concerning 'Spectre' is only available for a limited time and you have to 'log on' to being able to see them. That is not quite the same as your statement 'also including'. Having said that I want to make it quite clear: I love these steelbooks and am looking forward to seeing more later - I do hope the other Bond movies will all appear as steelbooks one day. Soon!

very nearly perfect.
I actually bought all 9 (including Quantum of Solace and Skyfall) and my only criticism is that all the films haven't been released this way. These are going to be like Marmite with fans - I don't like Marmite, but I love these. Such a refreshing new take on presenting these films. Please release the rest and make sure that Spectre follows suit.

Proposed James Bond Steelbook Artwork
Just a quick thought on the proposed artwork for the new Zavvi Exclusive James Bond steelbooks. As someone who grew up watching all the films on first release at the cinema then later looking forward to their very first showing on ITV, I think that featuring the artwork inspired by each film’s iconic opening title sequence on the outside of the steelbook is an EXCELLENT idea. However for the inside of the steelbook, why not feature the original cinema poster artwork for that particular film. That cinema poster artwork is iconic in its own right. Especially the cinema posters for the earlier Connery, Lazenby and Roger Moore films. Have to say that I would be disappointed on opening the steelbook just to see a generic 007 logo inside each different title. It just strikes me as being unimaginative and a little bit lazy steelbook design wise. Would be interested in what anyone else thinks...

Love the artwork.
Just pre-ordered these. Just love the artwork designs for these steels. Looking forward to seeing them arrive through the door. A must have for any James Bond collector. I've not seen all of the films so this will give me the ideal chance to check them out! :)
