With Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 swiftly coming up, the studio has just announced a few more key details about the upcoming movie, including its runtime and BBFC ratings. Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 sees the return of Starlord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, Baby Groot and Yondu. Director James Gunn has recently signed up to a third Guardians movie, also due to be released in 2019.

The runtime of Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 is 135 Minutes and 34 seconds, or 2 Hours and 16 minutes. This is pretty lengthy, which could partially be down to the 5 post-credits scenes featured in the film, which is might potentially lead into our Guardians factoring into Avengers: Infinity War and even potentially Thor: Ragnarok. Whichever way you look at it, we're going to have an absolute ride with our second adventure alongside this group of ragtag galactic outcasts.

The rating of this movie (in the UK) will be 12a, nothing too unexpected in comparison to other Marvel movies. Though you might still want to stay alert if you want to see it with young children. According to the listing, it has "Moderate fantasy action violence, sex references & bad language."

Needless to say, it's incredibly exciting to be strapping in for another Marvel ride, especially since we'll be seeing them once again in Avengers: Infinity War, teaming up with some of our favourite Avengers, both old and new. The film will apparently centre around the origins of Peter Quill, and the identity of his father, played by the legendary Kurt Russell,  (Escape From New York, The hateful Eight, Big Trouble in Little China). Needless to say, it's also possible that the infinity gems will also factor heavily in the storyline, as we've previously seen with a significant amount of other Marvel Movies. Looks like we will be gearing up for the next Avengers movie after this, Thor: Ragnarok and Spider-Man: Homecoming.
